Debut album 🤯🤯🤯

Half a year after my last post and a lot of effort, I reached my goal: My very first self-produced music album! What a satisfying feeling it is to finish something.

"Step Into Unknown" is the name of this psytrance album, which will be released on August 1, 2025, under the artist name "A Fool's Quest."

It was a long journey through steep learning curves, self-doubt, and happy accidents. But what I definitely can confirm is that by doing, you learn fastest. At least, it is true in my case. My understanding of music production at the end of the project was much better than at the beginning. This means that as I "finished" the last track, I had to open the first one again to adjust it to my newly learned skills. So, after the creative production phase, I went through every track and tried to improve them and mix them evenly.

Something that occurred over and over again was self-doubt. But I had to learn to accept that I am where I am at this moment, and that's okay. Because if you tell yourself at the beginning that you couldn't do it, there's a great chance you can't. And the fact is, we all have to learn over time to get to the quality we would like.

I am happy with the quality I achieved with this album. Sure, it doesn't match the quality I would like to have, but it is a start—a start I am proud of. The finishing of this album alone gives me great satisfaction.
